The McLaren P1 (42172) lands in the Brick Club library next Thursday. At 3,893 pieces it is the biggest car kit in the collection. Master Builder subscribers can queue it from Thursday morning.
The McLaren P1 is the 1:8 scale LEGO Technic version of the 903bhp hybrid hypercar. The build covers the full chassis, working suspension, a detailed engine bay, and the papaya orange livery that runs through the real car. It takes a while. 3,893 pieces is a serious commitment and there is a lot going on under the bodywork.
This is a Master Builder kit. If you are on the Technic Fan plan and want to step up for this one, now is a good time to do it. The kit arrives Thursday. Log in to add it to your queue before it gets taken.
