This post had the wrong body copy on it before. It was showing a completely different kit under a Ferrari SF-24 title, which is exactly the sort of thing I do not want sitting on the blog. This is the corrected version.
The Ferrari SF-24 F1 Car 42207 is the 2025 Technic Ferrari. LEGO announced it in November 2024 and released it on 1 March 2025. It is a 1:8 scale adult Technic model, 1,361 pieces, and it sits in the same modern F1 family as the Red Bull RB20 and McLaren F1 builds.

The first thing that matters with any F1 Technic set is whether the shape reads correctly. The SF-24 does. Long nose, tight sidepods, rear wing, Pirelli slick tyres, and enough body panel work that it feels like a display model once it is finished.
The functions are the reason it belongs in the library. You get front and rear suspension, steering, opening DRS, a V6 engine with a spinning MGU-H, and a 2-speed gearbox. That is plenty to keep the build interesting without turning it into a multi-week flagship.
I like this one because it gives Ferrari fans a serious build without jumping straight to the Daytona SP3. The Daytona is a multi-evening event. The SF-24 is more focused: build the chassis, see how the suspension and gearbox fit together, then watch the red bodywork turn it into a recognisable race car.
It is not a member-build post. There were no Ferrari member photos in the old article, so I have treated it properly as a library/news post instead. If someone sends in finished SF-24 photos later, I will put those up as a separate member build.
The DRS and suspension are the parts I would pay attention to. They are the bits that make this more than a red display car, and they are the reason Technic fans tend to prefer the licensed F1 sets over simpler display models.
