Light grey, lime trim and a hub in the back

One of our subscribers built the Lamborghini Revuelto (42214) and sent over a couple of photos. Light grey panels, a black roof and lime accents, and at 40 cm long the finished model has real presence.

This is the Technic Lamborghini you drive rather than crank. There is no piston engine, no gearbox and no suspension to speak of. A Powered Up hub sits at the back and drives the rear wheels directly, an axle runs forward to steer, and you control it through the Control+ app on a smart device, which is not in the box. It is 1,135 pieces, a lot of them light grey panels, against 3,696 for the Sián FKP 37 (42115).

The nose-on shot shows the front end well. The white bars at the corners carry the headlights, and they are a new antenna part in glow-in-the-dark white, so they read as white in daylight. The car has four working lights, fed from the hub through fibre-optic cables. The doors do not open: each one is held in by two pins, and the driver’s door comes off when the battery needs charging, because the charging port sits behind it.

Revuelto vs Sián: both work

The Sián FKP 37 (42115) is the Lamborghini for anyone who wants pistons and a gearbox, and at 3,696 pieces it is a multi-session build. The Revuelto goes the other way. The mechanical side is done early, the rest of the eight bags is bodywork, and at the end you have a car you can drive across the floor from the app. Different pace, same badge.

The subscriber’s build looks great. The light grey suits it and the lime trim lifts it. If you have already done the Sián and want something with less commitment but still that Lamborghini feel, the Revuelto is two evenings and something to drive at the end of it.

Similar Kits

This is exactly why I like putting member builds on the blog. The official images tell you what a kit is supposed to look like. Member photos show what it feels like once someone has actually sat down, opened the bags, and worked through it.

If you have just finished the Lamborghini Revuelto, send over a few photos. It does not need to be a full studio setup. A clean table, a finished build, and a few notes on what stood out are enough.
