The 42108 is one of those kits that just keeps going. This is the third time a member has sent photos back of a completed build, and honestly it keeps happening because the kit earns it. 1,292 pieces, eight wheels with steering on all four axles, and a boom that raises, extends and swings a full circle, all worked by hand from knobs on the superstructure.
One photo this time, but it’s a good one.
If you’ve finished a kit from us, send the photo to hello@brickclub.uk. We put every one of them up here.
The useful thing about a second or third member build is that it stops the post feeling like a one-off. Different builders notice different parts of the same kit, and the photos always come out slightly differently.
That is why I keep publishing repeat builds when they come in. If a kit keeps going out, that tells me something about the library. If members keep sending photos, that tells me even more.
