The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is leaving the LEGO catalogue this month.
LEGO has officially retired the Ferrari Daytona SP3 (42143). Once existing retail stock clears it will only be found on the secondary market at a significant premium. The library still has copies in good build condition.
If you have been putting this one off, this is the prompt you have been waiting for.
The Daytona SP3 is one of the most praised Technic builds of the last five years. Retiring sets tend to become more requested, not less. The queue for this one is already longer than it was six months ago.
Once the library’s copies are beyond economic repair, this kit leaves the collection permanently. The Ferrari SF-24 and the Lamborghini Sian are both excellent. But the Daytona SP3 has its own character, and there is no substitute for 3,778 pieces and a proper V12.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is still available to rent. Add it to your queue from your account, or email garreth@brickclub.uk to ask about availability.
