LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083)
When LEGO and Bugatti sat down together in 2018, the result was a 3,599-piece flagship that still holds up eight years later. This is not a simplified toy version of the Chiron. The proportions are close to 1:8 scale, the quad-cam W16 engine has moving pistons, and the rear wing deploys when you push the car forward.
The build is split into three major sections: the chassis and running gear, the engine bay, and the body panels. The engine bay alone takes a couple of hours. The colour scheme uses genuine Bugatti Atlantic Blue and silver.
Push the car along a flat surface and the rear spoiler lifts automatically, mirroring the real car’s active aero above 180 km/h. It is a satisfying mechanism and one that consistently surprises people who pick it up for the first time.
Members who have built this one tend to take their time. The gear selector, the removable W16 engine, and the full interior all reward patience. If you have only ever built mid-size Technic sets before, the Chiron is a step up in every direction.
The Chiron is available on the Master Builder plan. Log into your account and add it to your queue. Questions? Email garreth@brickclub.uk.
